Despite the grandeur of the name, the BFI LFF Awards are not exactly at the level of the Baftas or Oliviers or GQs... or rather I say that as somebody whose invitee status and finger-on-the-pulse-ness and photographing-from-a-footpath-without-queueing-for-hours-ness makes it hard to gauge precisely the level of prestige involved. Suffice it to say that any event that doesn't invite me has a certain cache to it that I will reluctantly acknowledge. So.... that's how I spend a perfectly ordinary Saturday evening. I hope yours was great, and nobody insouciantly questioned how you elected to spend it :)
Until next time! (tomorrow!)
Feel free to follow me on facebook at premieresdotco, or on twitter at berndt2_photo, or if you ever see me on the street and I don't (yet) precisely know who I'm photographing.... go easy on me, will ya!?
