November 8th, 2016.
It's November Eight, and across the Atlantic one of the world's superpowers has gone to the polls. If I recall correctly "Death By Meteor" was the preferred candidate in last minute polling . Anyway, if this is the last premiere journal you're reading, you have my apologies. Even though I quite enjoyed this one.
Here's how it went down.
So... that was that. A premiere shot from a distance many would consider strange or mad - and afterwards I'd be inclined to agree. But at least it provided an interesting view, and an easier-to-exit event than usual, allowing me to zip to Blackfriars and get home sooner.... until a downed power line (or an ox on the rails) (or somebody learning that cardboard rails are water-soluble) (or somebody seeing a snowflake once) rendered all trains heading north delayed or cancelled. Damnit... we haven't even officially LEFT Europe yet and this country's falling apart.
But then I'm an Australian resident until proven otherwise, and I will appeal if I'm declined. Until next time, Mates!
ps. If you ever want to know when I publish a premiere journal (and looking at the above.... perhaps look at a couple more on this site first.... via the archive of movie premieres) feel free to follow me on facebook at premieresdotco, or on twitter at @berndt2_photo . Of if there's a giant deadly meteor hurtling towards the planet, tell somebody who you love that you love them : the negative consequences might not even last that long!
