October 8th, 2017.
It was only 24 hours since I was in Leicester Square doing a premiere ("Battle of the Sexes" with Emma Stone and Andrea Riseborough), and less than ten MINUTES (give or take) since I'd left Embankment for the premiere of "On Chesil Beach" with Saoirse Ronan), and here I was.... in Leicester Square, for the premiere of "Last Flag Flying".
Here's how it went down:
Much like Sam Claflin and Reese Witherspoon, Richard Linklater has a wonderfully expressive face, so I was very glad to photograph him being interviewed from behind/beside the media.
So... that was two premieres separated by a gap of 12 minutes between the last posted photo of the first premiere in one location, and the first posted photo of the second premiere in the second location. I'd be very impressed by that.... if I was the kind of person who was impressed by that. And it's another premiere for the Archive of Movie Premieres, which gets a rest day tomorrow as I have other (unbelievably even more important) priorities I've committed to.... before I hopefully start this again from Tuesday through all through to next Sunday.
Until next time!
ps. if you ever want to know when I post one of these journals, feel free to follow me on facebook at premieresdotco, or on twitter @berndt2_photo, or, heck, if you're at Leicester Square anytime during London Film Festival (I'm the guy that's not juggling flaming bowling pins or beatboxing to reggae music)
