So once again I had the good fortune (and in some cases the photographic equipment) to pursue this crazy unpaid hobby of mine, and overall it wasn’t too bad a year for that. Mostly….
FEBRUARY: I missed January due to being in Australia, but February provided an unexpectedly HUGE premiere, an(other) insult from Marvel/Disney, and the biggest insult of all from BAFTA. Not a good month, and also certainly a strange one.
MARCH : After how awful February was, March could only get better, and in both quality and quantity, it was!
APRIL : A quieter Month, but not a bad one:
MAY : One Event, and one non-premiere… and that’s it for May…
JUNE : Only three events in June, as The Drought continues
JULY was Bigger, and More, than June if nothing else.
AUGUST : Premieres! And Frightfest!
SEPTEMBER : things get busy, and I decide not to take a holiday…
OCTOBER : October means London Film Festival, and this year…. not so good.
NOVEMBER : some bigger premieres in a pretty neat sequence late in the month…
December : two events, both big, neither technically premieres..
… So, that was 2018. Will I do it again in 2019? Ummm…. yeah. I hope so.
It might end up being a bit of a swansong year, but that might mean I’ll put all the effort I can into it…
Until next time!
