If you're thinking "Wait... wasn't there already a Christopher Robin biopic last year??" you're absolutely right - it featured Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie and it was not too bad a movie, albeit strange. And it even had a premiere, the journal for which is here. But, being never one to let even a hint of non-Disney-ness infect something generally associated with them, it seems Disney had a few spare sheckels lying around to fund a rival, albeit delayed, biopic. And they had a full-sized Sunday premiere to promote it, too!
Here's how it went down:
So... that was that. And given I had a cap on, and had applied sunscreen, and drunk chilled liquids beforehand (and less-chilled liquids during), and in spite of a Pentax Camera + Tamron Zoom Lens autofocus combination that makes Oil + Water seem like a tight relationship.... it wasn't too bad. And it'll go into the Archive of Premieres.
And needless to say, my a55hole train company cancelled the fast train home thus making me wait longer and travel longer... but apparently I'm not allowed to write what I believe should happen to the CEO/management of that company because inciting violence is wrong (possibly illegal?), whereas ripping off tens of thousands of people to the tune of millions of pounds, and openly lying to parliament is slightly less wrong, and apparently not illegal at all.
Until next time and/or The Revolution!
