The 2019 BAFTAs : Red Carpet / Monochrome

February 10th, 2019.

As already previously documented here in the commentary-filled, full-length journal, my 2019 Baftas wasn’t great but it was infinitely better than 2018 (where no photos were taken). But much as I love heading home after an event and getting a journal done before I go to bed that night / early the next morning… I do like putting together a commentary-free alternative, monochrome-and-widescreen journal for a large enough event in the following days.

Here’s how this one went down:

So.. that was that. Perhaps it lacked the ‘invisible’ glamour that comes from having the photos ‘set’ on the red carpet in the middle of an event - the backgrounds are a bit more stark and strange (and the presence of car doors distracting), however given the alternative, this wasn’t too bad at all.

Until next time? I… actually can’t and won’t promise that.

Still, it’s one for The Archive and it joins the RedCarpetMonochrome journals for the baftas in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
